I completely understand that Security though Obfuscation is a bad idea.
However I also think that advertising, "I have this hardware/setup at
IP address XXX", especially since I need a reasonably complex set-up on
hardware I have little experience in (yet), and the forums for
discussing such matters are the places where those likely to comprise a
network hang out ...
