Cant be essential apps, cause there's plenty of non-essential ones on
it - and anyway, that quality can be context dependent.
Why do I get the feeling that it'd be easier and more useful to just
have links to:
Fedora Core and Debian apt repositories
freshmeat.net
sourceforge.net
rpmfind.net
freshrpms.net
<whatever useful debian software links>
Also, pine is listed twice. Though, given that it's twice as useful
as all other MUAs combined, the double listing probably is justified.
