I wonder how they defined "stale users". I registered with the Linux
counter many (> 7) years ago and I haven't the first clue what my
number is (or was - because I'm sure I was weeded out as a "stale
user"). Looking at the site it seems they decided to weed out old users
in 2001 by mailing all users who had been registered more than two
years. This would have included me, but at that stage the email address
I used was no longer valid.
TBH I think the whole project is no longer valid, but hey, whatever
floats their boat.
