FFS .. will people stop posting news stories to the list. We can all
check http://slashdot.org or http://linuxtoday.com or
http://www.gloklaw.net or numerous other sources.
Unless you've something deep and meaninful to add to the story, quoting
it doesn't add anything to the conversation on this list.
This last one didn't even provide a link to the story. If it's a
subscriber only story I think too much of it has possibly been quoted to
claim it's an excerpt so you may bring about problems for the ILUG down
the road if the story is spotted.
There have been others where only a link to a story has been posted with
no or little explanation of what's contained in it. Certainly no insight
or opinion expressed about it.
Get a blog and post your stories there, at least then you can be
on-topic with an "Apple" or "SCO" category. If it's interesting to read
extracts from stories then people will visit.
