I had a nightmare experience a few months ago
with an outfit whose name I've forgotten,
except that it had the word Logistics in the middle.
Anyway they said I had to pay them some ridiculous sum like 2 euro
plus 15 euro for collecting 2 euro - par for the course -
but what made it worse was that they would not accept a cheque or Visa,
and they wouldn't deliver (to TCD) on the off-chance they might get paid.
In the end I had to go to Dublin Airport to collect the parcel
and pay their fee.
My experience is that it is better to avoid Courier services of all kinds,
particularly those that claim to be fast,
and to use standard postal services whenever possible.
