i just use this:
macro index S "s~/Mail/sa\r"
macro pager S "s~/Mail/sa\r"
and then have sa-learn run through it every night via cron:
sa-learn --spam $HOME/Mail/sa/new; rm $HOME/Mail/sa/new/*
~/Mail/sa is in maildir format:
~/Mail/sa/cur
~/Mail/sa/new
~/Mail/sa/tmp
if it was in mailbox format, just do this in cron:
sa-learn --spam --mbox $HOME/Mail/sa; cat /dev/null > $HOME/Mail/sa
