Nope, Effectively most mail-order and online sales are free of sales
tax, except if you live in the home state of the Vendor.
Sales taxes are levied by the individual state (Ohio, Texas etc.) and
they cannot levy taxes on external sales, so a Texan online merchant has
to charge Texans sales taxes, but not the other 49 states and
international sales. You noticed this is a lot of American adds, a
certain single state will have to pay sales tax.
