I've just gotten a radeon 9200 128MB (not 9200SE), which does AGP8x and
has open source drivers, I think the Radeon 8500/9100 might be a bit
better ...
it's a real pain that the 9600 isn't open source as ATI have done a really
bad job on their closed source drivers compaared to Nvidia, it might yet
happen if a Weather channel comes along .. but they ain';t giving the
specs to independent users, I've even had trouble getting them via my
company... ( I still don't have em as I'm not using R300 chips yet...only
r100 in current product..)
