Radeon R1xx or R2xx. I have an R280 9200 working fine with DVI
(ironically, where NVidia wouldnt - odd display size). The ATi FireGL
8800 is apparently the fastest open-supported OpenGL card. *All* of
the Ati cards have open 2D support. For the TV-Out, etc, stuff see
GATOS.
Even if decide that your OpenGL needs dictate you buy one of the
newer R3xx ATi Radeon cards, that have only binary-only driver
support, at least ATi do have some demonstrated ability to hand over
specs (even if it requires a lot of money).
NVidia wont even hand over specs to the stuff like the ethernet
interface in their NForce chipsets. sigh.
