I just posted my xorg.conf and the corresponding log file.
If you can make any sense of them I shall be very grateful.

Note that this conf file worked perfectly with FC-1 and XFree86.
It's only since the advent of Xorg that I have had any problems.

I should perhaps add that many Picturebook users
have reported the same problem,
and a bugzilla on the subject was posted to xorg some months ago.

As far as I can see, there is only one guy working on the ATI server
with Xorg, and he doesn't seem to be very active.
