Got it working,

once I Installed the gcc.

I now have an nVidia splash screen coming up.

Can now do Blender & wings3D

PS: Hollywood is moving away from Linux animation to Apple,
        I would guess it has a lot to do with Steve Jobs being the owner of 
Pixar (Toy Story etc)
