[ILUG] LVM question

Hi all,

I do not have a system setup at this time with lvm, and would like to add
a new partiton to an existing volume, so:

http://www.learninglinux.com/HOWTO/LVM-HOWTO-9.html

And I do:

# vgextend my_volume_group /dev/hdc1
                           ^^^^^^^^^ new physical volume

Is that all I need to do lads? (apart from using pvdisplay to determine
the vol name)
