I'm not entirely sure, but if I recall correctly it used to be legal as
long as they were *for personal use* -- the policy was apparently amended
that way due to pressure from AIDS-patient groups. Not sure what the
current status is, though, as that was a while ago -- before the recent
"import to avoid crazy drug prices in the US" thing became popular.
