Aside from Kevin's comment on how many of those were for remote
exploits (NB: kernel update fixes a local root exploit, iirc), Fedora
has exec-shield on i386 which makes stack RO (along with some other
things) and prelink to randomise library load addresses.
echo 'kernel.exec-shield = 2' >> /etc/sysctl.conf
to have it always enabled (its enabled only for binaries that are
marked by default iirc) and either reboot or sysctl -p.
