A bit daft so, ICMP is not an attack. And anyway, i dont see that 
many of them. If I tcpdump -i ppp0 icmp, vast majority of packets are 
admin prohibited ICMPs which /I/ send (triggering packet could have 
been a common scan too).

Maybe ICMP has feck all to do with it? ;)
