Looking at www.sane-project.org few lexmarks work (2 out of 10 listed)!
No real sign of your printer and Linux bar a lone unanswered cry for help!

measures the other Niall described!
I think it's safe to say that anyone who buys one of those for Linux has
no cause for complaint when they get the privilege of categorising it as
a paperweight for linux-printing.org.
