[ILUG] Ethernet Bridging issues

[ILUG] Ethernet Bridging issues

Hamilton, David (TSG C&I) david.hamilton3 at hp.com
Mon Dec 6 12:27:43 GMT 2004

I have set up a Fedora core 3 system to use as an ethernet
bridge/traffic shaper, and am having some general issues.
The bridge appears to pass most 'normal' traffic without problems, but
when I try to use NFS/X11 across the link the packets just seem to
disappear.
I am using brctl to establish the link, and tc to set the transfer
thresholds.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions?
Thanks,
	D.

David Hamilton
