hmmm... no.  At least, I don't think so, not for doom3-demo anyway.  I
have the same problem with a 64MB "GeForce Go5200MX".  However, I didn't
have this problem when I was running Mandrake 10.0 (on Mandrake 10.1
now).

I think it may be to do with a GL conflict with some of the Mesa stuff
though I can't be sure as I haven't spent much time on it.  I have a few
days off work now, so if I get to spend some time on it, I'll let you
know.

In the meantime, keep us up to date on your own investigations.
