Ah OK. I was planning to add a second NIC and do some bonding (failover
mode, not ALB) for some network resilience, and a third card (or a
dualport pci) for some firewalling - (behind an adsl router).

Maybe this is not the right choice of chipsets. 

Anyone know any small form factor chipsets (to fit in one of them small
cases) that are low in power consumption?
