Hi there,
you may have seen by now that the Software Patent directive is due to be
passed (as a so-called "A-item") by the EU Agriculture Ministers tomorrow...
http://demo.ffii.org/
The site suggests two ways to help:
1. include the banner and link on your website(s).
2. fax/hand a letter to your Minister for Agriculture.
The current Minister for Agriculture is Ms. Mary Coughlan. She is
currently in Brussels, but the Department can forward on any messages
(or so they tell me :-) ).
The fax number for the Department is 01 6614515, or they are at
Agriculture House, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.
Hey, who knows what'll happen - but every one added voice may help.
Gary.
