I have the file-server up & running.
music, sound, sendmail all extra to needs.

If I go apt-get remove mikmod (for eg.)

It also want to remove:
gnome-applets gmone-media gnome-session
gnome-volume-manager gstreamer-plugin
mikmod nautilus-media.

I could be wrong, but I think I need gnome-session to log-in.
I've tried google, but there is as many opinions as distros.

Best removal, & knowing what to keep?

Frank
