[ILUG] joydev params

fuzzbucket fuzzbucket at fuzzbucket.tk

I got a present of a USB joypad which works with the joydev kernel
module. Unfortunately it's detected as having 9 axes and 12 buttons (it
has 2 axes and 10 buttons). Axes 0 and 1 are used by most games, but
axes 1 and 2 respond to input.

Is there a parameter I can pass to joydev or a way to remap the axes
post load?

Thanks.
