[ILUG] courier/authdb with virtual domain on postfix

Hello,

I am using postfix on a Debian server with courier as the pop/imap
server. I have both real accounts and since today, a new virtual
domain that i am trying to administer via postfix/courier. Receiving
mail is not a problem, i have them handled by postfix directives to
maildrop.

The difficult bit is getting a valid authentication via courier with
authdb. I then created a /etc/courier/authdb file with the following :

user uid=666|gid=666|home=/var/spool/mail/virtual/virtualdomain/user|systempw=encryptedpw

I encrypted the passwd using userdbpw both with and without -md5 but
am still getting a login failed in the mail logs.

I am using standard sid packages from debian and have these modules
listed in /etc/courier/authmodulerc "authpam authuserdb"

Does it sound familiar to anyone ?

Cheers,
Steph
