Hi,
I'm not sure who was listening to Morning Ireland on RTE Radio 1 this
morning but there was a piece just before 8am about the mydoom virus given
(as an interview) by William Campbell of BUA Training.

Not only did it show William Campbell to be horrifically ill-informed, but
what he did say was downright slanderous of OSS, Linux and OpenOffice.org.
The impression one got was that Campbell had never heard of OSS and had
been coached by one of his tech department in the half hour run up so he
could talk about this Lynux thing and openoffice.org attacking Microsoft
and someone called SCO. He basically made the OSS community sound like a
bunch of spoilt children who were trying to attack Microsoft. David Hanley
compounded it by getting him to agree that "this is an act of hatred by "
OSS.
I wouldn't like to be in a meeting recommending OSS software this morning.
