[ILUG] SCO off the net - incorrect

[ILUG] SCO off the net - incorrect

Hi John,

I'd like to correct your article posted this morning. SCO is *not*
off the net, they seem to have taken down several systems and DNS
records off their own accord. However, several systems on their
subnet are still responsive, including ns.calderasystems.com and
ns2.calderasystems.com serving DNS, and www2.sco.com serving HTTP.

Most interestingly, they've forgotten to remove the A record for
sco.com, so http://sco.com still works fine.

None of these would work if they were flooded with traffic as you
have reported.

regards,
