I just got off the phone with Rachel English of "5-7 Live" in RTE. She had heard of some rumpus developing over Mr. WC's (William Campbell) interview this morning, and had just started to look at the transcript of it. She said that they weren't originally going to do a piece on it, but she would talk to her producers and they may get back to me... which they have just done. Joan Brady just rang me and told me that they did a piece last week on 5-7 live, and they felt that they "didn't get it wrong" so they wouldn't be doing another piece on it again.
HOWEVER, she suggested that I ring the Morning Ireland team (Tel. 208 2705 or 208 2472) for some comeback. I'm happy to ring them, but can I suggest that some of the "Big Wigs" in ILUG ring them too please? Apparently, they don't start until 5pm, so sometime after that would probably be good.
