 Anyone know a quick way of getting the number of concurrent connection
that's faster than:

root# time grep -c ASSURED /proc/net/ip_conntrack
26103
                                                                                                                     
real    0m16.954s
user    0m0.041s
sys     0m16.742s

 That's just silly time.
