Just saw the press release posted on Boards.ie, well done AJ and ILUG. I'd
just like to add though:
My Linux mail server has trapped 93 instances of MyDoom in the last 12
hours, plus 30-odd instances of other crap. This is probably quite light
compared to the hammering larger hosting companies and medium to large
enterprises are dealing with. Filtering the mails (with open source
software) lightens my workload, but it's still using my valuable resources.
So I beg to differ: Linux users ARE "directly affected" by MyDoom. If RTE
responds, you might want to point that out.
