In principle you should be able to do this, and simply grep through the big
nasty file. HOWEVER, the reason I abandoned reiser forever was that it once
demolished a 15GB filesystem on my notebook. I had backed up the night before,
so there was no data loss but out of curiosity I had a look through the
partition and I found NOTHING recognisable.
