Thanks Steph,

Looks like it was working, even though the above message was coming up in the 
logs. I expected to see something in the mail header. But the MySQL mail 
lists use the same configuration and after looking at there headers and 
setting up a pop server here and putting a known infected mail in a mail box 
( not connected to the coperate LAN) I got the virus warning.
