Mornin',
I have a program, when ran normally, it works fine. It uses select()
to monitor for input on a number of interfaces, including stdin. When ran
in the bg (using ./prog &) gets a read event on stdin. The resulting
getc(stdin) call hangs the process. Can anyone tell me why i get a read
event first of all? And secondly, how do i fix this? At the moment, i
check to see if the process is running in the fg, if not i don't add
stdin to the fd_set, but it's not a good solution. Anyone got any
suggestions?

Steve
