On the subject of ADSL hubs.
Can anyone tell me if any (or which) of the hups out there support tunneling
a VPN connection (allow a VPN connection operate through the hub
- for example my ISDN buffalo 4 port hub does NOT).
I also be most interested in a hub that allowed more then 1 VPN
connection similtaniously (so both me and the missus could
connect to work VPN over our Broadband at the same time). - is this
possible.
Also can this goal be achieved by using a Linux router with ADSL modem
attached to it.
It may be significant to note that AFAIK one of the corporate VPNs
is running off a linux server while the other is either an MS solution
or possibly hardware (not sure).
Is the IOLBB provided modem only going to work as USB ?
Thanks for any insights you folks can provide ?
(I need a linux based router then my next question will be how - and would
this be better anyway ?)
Thanks
