Yep. Either be in a position to two or three days off from work, or
don't annoy people.
I did take two days off work for the first two Expos, and the first was a
massive success considering;
a) We'ed never done it before
b) We were shoved into a corner, on a tiny desk
c) We had little sponsorship (bar enough to get some flyers printed out)
That said, it was wonderful fun, everything from chatting up the gorgeous
canadian ladies from Corel (one of whom gave us two massive blowup
penguins) to the group of ten people shaking their heads at the
presentation on Windows 2000 (while holding two massive blowup penguins on
their laps).
