>> What is ECDL?

I've had a look at this course from the point of view of teaching it to =
school kids (which I am doing). If anyone is interested in doing it =
the only thing to be decided is
(a) What desktop to concentrate on Gnome/KDE/even Bluecurve
(b) What office suite. I've been using Abiword, but conventional =
wisdom would suggest OO.org
I also think that it is necessary to write a how to teach the ECDL for =
GNU/Linux. An implementation of the ECDL curriculum would simply =
consist of a writeup of technical stuff. It is necessary to then =
format it in a manner that is useful for a teacher to use.
I'm rambling here... If anyone is interested in working on this, I've =
made a start. Mail me :)

If you believe in the health of the software economy, this has been =
based on IP.

The health of the software economy has been based on the open standard =
Internet Protocol.
