[ILUG] Rewrite to https for specific directories

[ILUG] Rewrite to https for specific directories

Hey folks, just wanna double check something...

I'm trying to force a redirect to https for specific directories
on the webserver, I have the following in the vhost:

  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ~bobb/r
  RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} !^443$
  RewriteRule ^/(.*)?$ https://%{SERVER_NAME}/$1 [L,R]

Which does indeed appear to redirecto http://server/~bobb/r/foo.html
to https://server/~bobb/r/foo.html

Just wondering if this is the best way to go about things...

Cheers,

- bobb
