I failed the ECDL, twice. Mind you I wasn't especially enthusiastic
about taking it, nor cared in the least. It's not absurdly obvious
anyway, you need to have actually used and be familiar with the
applications beforehand.
An awful lot of time can be wasted trying to figure out how to double
space a paragraph if you're not used to using a word processor.
