[ILUG] out of office replies (going WAY OT)

Create a mail saying when you'll be in or out of office, garnish
with whatever ugly company logo stuff as you see fit, save as
Filename.oft (mail template). In the "tools/Rules Wizard..." Start from
a blank rule, set to only reply if sent directly to you. Next choose the
template you saved as the response template. In the next screen as an
added bonus you can specifiy exceptions to the rule, add ilug to these
exceptions. This is a client side only rule so you'll have to leave
outlook running on your machine while you're away. But it should solve
your problem. There are ways and means of configuring outlook not to be
such a plum but they're buried in a myriad of locations each more
obscure than the next. Several text files would be far easier to work
with but some of us currently don't have that luxury.
Personally I suspend my subscription. It'll all be in the
archives when I return :)

Things,
Steve
