But in fairness, gaming is a bit like kernel compilation, max CPU pretty
much all the time, disk I/O's [not as much obviously], plus speakers or
you get killed all the time. - cannot hear enemies coming ;--0
All the previous laptops I have used have lasted about that amount of time
aswell, IBM's, ACER, Chompaqs aswell as Dells. All died before I completed
that pesky level [Dublin to Donegal journey]
The centrino based one is the first to last anything over 3 for me. Two
DVD's is very good perf. Dunno what the clock speed is, but its over 2Ghz
anyway, very fast!
