I believe he does know what backups are, but in this case, this one missed 
the loop (as it happens at times). Nope, he was not testing his 
'Makefile', as this person is not much of linux coder, and does not use 
make (yet... will try and let him know the error of his ways)

Because thats the only way he knows how (as this is what I believe he was 
thought in college), and it was only a one source file program.
