liteamp is fine too, if you want a gnome2 application which just plays a
given mp3 file, and don't want to get sucked into rhythmbox land which
rather depends on you having the correct song names and other id tags in
your mp3s to be able to find what you want to play in your collection. A
good thing to have done perhaps, but maybe a bit late in the day for at
least my own semirandom pile.
