[ILUG] Commands have stopped working

[ILUG] Commands have stopped working

Hello,
when I started the machine in Linux this morning I found that none of the commands work.

I can so far use:
clear
cd
and pwd
but commands like ls cat grep locate etc don't work.

The last thing I did was put a script named openoffice.sh in /etc/ with the following
#$/bin/sh
exclude PATH=/usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/program:$PATH

Could that be causing a problem?

Before that I installed Open office from the tar file available on their web site.

Could it be that the path has been overridden? any idea how I can delete this script?

What is the path to the ls rm and cat commands?

Thanks

Darragh
