Dunno about 2.6, but the best 2.4 kernel driver for that card is
the orinoco_cs one (unless you need AP functionality). It got extended
to support prism chipsets over a year ago, and most people I know using
prism cards outside of AP mode use it (including me).
Have a look see if that drivers still around in 2.6, it probably is.
