Hi,
A physics professor sent a email to Pat Kenny complaining that the
government agency that grants physics research grants, required that the
submission for same was in (AND ONLY IN) MS word format. The professor
complained that a government agency should not favour one propriety software
package over another, especially when that software costs money.
Pat Kenny just read it out, and agreed that it wasn't on.
I thought it was interesting that this got air time.
Anyway NOW is time to email Pat Kenny with other examples of public bodies
with the same, bad, requirements.
Cheers, Justin.
