ah, of course.. although, fstype as 'none' appears to work too.
in the meantime, seeing as how you can mount things more than once,
the following works:
/dev/whatever /additional/mnt <fstype> <options> etc..
works too. though, bind is nicer to avoid duplicating device info in
fstab.
