[ILUG] DVD Writing [definitely OT]

[ILUG] DVD Writing [definitely OT]

Scary but true: You can sign up for Aldi's special offers of the week by
e-mail by visiting their website. Sometimes they have pretty nifty and
cheap computer equipment.

I didnt see that, but I did pick up a 4x dvd writer for 90GBP at one of
the shops that used to be time computers (possibly personal computer
world or something similarly bland). Its a no name brand, dmesg has this
to say about it:
hdd: DVD-RW IDE1004, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
Works a treat, I use nautilus-cd-burner to make the isos fwiw. Cheers
