M$ are doing this because there are starting to realise that they cant have
all the pc's out there, that they need to interoperate. linux has been doing
this for a long long time, you can put linux on an ms network and have it
work but you cant use an ms box on a linux network, this is just a sign that
ms are very very scared. they are trying to tell people not to use a free os
which is stable and secure when you can pay for os with unstablity and
insecurity built in :-) which now has a posix layer.
I say dont use this kit, if you need posix told on win32 use cygwin
www.cygwin.com which is excellent, dont give ms any sort of help, they dont
deserve it, they wouldnt help you if the situation was reversed
