Got my utvinternet.ie adsl stuff yesterday. The adsl modem they ship to
you be default is a Zyxel 620-11 adsl usb modem.
In short I have this working wonderfully under linux, but there were a
few hoops to jump through first. A linux driver is available at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/zyxel630-11, and works fine, once you
have all the requirements together.
The key thing I found was that it didn't work under linux-2.6.0-test11
but *does* work under linux-2.4.20. And you must modify the modem init
scripts as in http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=2300783
If there is any interest I can put together a full blow by blow setup
howto.
