I'm setting up a linux file server for a company, moving from an NT
server. One sticking point at the moment is that they are used to the file
permissions in NT and want something similar for their new setup. After
having a look around google I have found acl addons for linux, for example
the acl package in Debian apt-get.
Has anyone else here used ACLs and if so how reliable are they, and is
there anything to watch out for? The only thing resembling a homepage I
could find was http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-acl/ and it looks
like that has been in beta since last March.
Thanks in advance.
