Subject: [ILUG] Totally OT: Has anyone seen the CD-WOW BPI decision?
I know this is totally OT, but relevant to the I in ILUG. CD-WOW have
come to an agreement with the BPI such that they will not ship CDs that
have not been released in Europe yet, and will add 3.00 Euro to every CD
sold into Ireland!
How can the "British" phonograph industry Irish sales???
Grrr...this is a blow to choice. I've mailed the BPI to ask for
clarification (I've even got an individual's e-mail address, but I'll
keep that for now in case there's an e-mail campaign required).
Sorry about the OT
Dermot.
