There will be a LEWD POTD this evening in the Lord Lucan pub which is
on the Newcastle Road in Lucan. This is at the request of occasional
LEWD member Mr. Kevin Lyda who will be favouring West Dublin with his
presence this evening.
Kickoff will be about 21:00 or thereabouts. We used say 20:00 but as
nobody ever turned up until 21:00, we decided to cut out the middleman.
Also, for those for mightn't know, LEWD is nothing more interesting than
Linux Enthusiasts West Dublin, an ad hoc grouping of ILUG members which
meets from time to time somewhere in West Dublin, though we welcome
townies too.
Regulars and newbies are more than welcome - there will be a Tux
presence so that newbies know who we are.
Directions to pub - turn left off N4 leaving Dublin, signposted for
Newcastle (first traffic lights after the M50 roundabout). Carry on
through two roundabouts, pub is in a little shopping centre on the left.
If you end up with fields on both sides of the road, you've gone too
far.
This will hopefully be the last LEWD meeting to take place in a smoky
pub, so grab it while you can.
